Applies ToMicrosoft Store

When you request a refund for something you purchased from Microsoft Store, you can track its status online.

Not all subscriptions are eligible for a refund. If you were eligible for a refund, you can see the refund status by following the steps below.

If you were not eligible for a refund, or if you cancelled recurring billing, there will not be a refund entry.

  1. If you were eligible for a refund, you can check the status of your refund on your Microsoft account Order history page. Open Order history

  2. Find the product. It will include the refund status.

  3. If you see we've issued the refund, but the money hasn't been credited back to your payment provider, wait a few days. Depending on the bank, it can take a few days to process the refund.

If you don't see a refund, that is because you cancelled your subscription outside the refund eligibility period.
