Create files with OneDrive
Create files and save them to OneDrive, so you can edit them from anywhere.
Create an online file
You can create files in your favorite Microsoft 365 web apps directly through OneDrive.

On the OneDrive home page, select the Add new button, and select the type of file you want to create (for example, a new Word document).

To rename the file, click the file name on the title bar, type a new name, and press Enter.
Create a file in an Office App
When you use Microsoft 365 web apps (like Word, Excel, PowerPoint for the web), any files you create or edit are automatically saved to OneDrive by default.

Select the Microsoft 365 App Launcher
and then select an app like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. -
Select New blank document, open a Recent file, or select a template or theme.

Search for files
Looking for an older doc? Search is a powerful tool to find all your online docs.

Type a word or phrase in the Search box.

Select a file, or press Enter.
You can also view files you recently created or edited in the Recent section of your OneDrive home page.
