A few steps can help you have better, more productive meetings.
Schedule your meeting

In Teams, select Calendar > New meeting.

Invite people.

Add a location, or if it's an online meeting, leave the location blank.

Add a meeting goal, agenda, and link to a file if you like.
Start your meeting

Select Join.
-
Check your settings before you start.

Turn on your video to encourage others.

Blur the background if you want.

Some organizations recommend putting on your headset and muting your laptop speaker.
When you're ready, select Join now.

Once you're in the meeting, select ...More actions to Show meeting notes or Start recording.
Note: If you record a meeting, let everyone know they're being recorded. For more information, select the Privacy policy button after you Start recording.

Use the menu bar to select controls to Share your screen, Mute your microphone, or Show conversation.
As you meet

Online docs allow others to edit.

Select Chat to open the chat window and encourage all to contribute.
End your meeting

Summarize any decisions, next steps, and who is responsible.

Thank everyone for attending and select the phone icon to end the meeting.
