Add and format text

  1. Place the cursor where you want in your document, and type some text.

  2. On the Home tab, select options for font, paragraph, and style from the toolbar:

    • Font - font, font size, bold, italics, underline, highlight, and color

    • Paragraph - bullets, numbering, alignment, line, and paragraph spacing

    • Styles - headings, titles, subtitles

Insert a picture

  1. Select Insert > Picture.

  2. Select This Device.

  3. Find the picture you want, and select Open.

You also have the option to select photos from your mobile device, OneDrive, stock images, or to search the web.

Insert a table

Select Insert > Table, and then select the table size you want.

Add a link

  1. Select some text.

  2. Select Insert > Link. Then select Insert link from the menu.

  3. In Display text, type the text you want to display.

  4. Enter the URL under Address.

  5. Select Insert.

Insert a hyperlink

Add a link to go to a section in your document

  1. Select some text.

  2. Select Insert > Link. Then select Insert link from the menu.

  3. In Display text, type the text you want to display.

  4. Select Heading and Bookmarks. This displays all headings or bookmarks you added in the document.

  5. Select the heading or bookmark you want to link to.

  6. Select Insert.
