You can rename pages in a notebook when you're working in OneNote for the web. You can also rename a section and rename a notebook.

Go to the page you want to rename. The title at the top of page is the page name you see in the page list on the left.

Select the title at the top of the page, and then type a new title.
The page name in the page list on the left will change to match the title at the top of the page. The page name in the page list on the left will always match the title of the page on the right.
