Interact with web parts in a SharePoint space

Single-click (left-click on mouse or track pad, trigger on VR controller, or touch tap): When an on trigger action is assigned on a web part, a single click on the web part starts the on trigger action. When there is no on trigger action assigned, nothing happens upon single-click.

Right-click (mouse or track pad) or press and hold (VR controller or touch): If the author has assigned more than one action to the web part, the additional actions will be shown in a context menu.

Context Menu UI

One-finger swipe (touch), scroll wheel (mouse), or thumbstick (VR controller): Scroll through items in a document library.

Note: Adding actions to a web part is optional. Some web parts have default actions, while others can be customized. To learn about which actions can be added to a web part, see the help article for that web part. For a list of help topics for each web part, see Learn how to use web parts in a SharePoint space.

Note: To view content in a space, the author of the space needs to ensure that the content is stored in a location where appropriate permissions to view are provided.
