In Microsoft Teams (free), you can make your messages stand out by formatting them.
To format a message, tap Plus , then select Format where you can:

Tap Bold to enter bold text.

Tap Italic to enter italic text.

Tap Underline to enter underlined text.

Tap Highlighter to scroll through and select a different highlight color for your text.

Tap Font Color to scroll through and select a different color for your text.
To format a message, tap Plus , then select Format where you can:

Tap Bold to enter bold text.

Tap Italic to enter italic text.

Tap Underline to enter underlined text.

Tap Highlighter to enter highlighted text.

Tap Font Color to enter red text.
Tip: You can also highlight parts of your message, select Format, and format only those parts.
To format a message, select Format , where you can:
Note: Depending on the window size you may have to Select More options to view all available formatting options.

Select Bold to enter bold text.

Select Underline to enter underlined text.

Select Strikethrough to strikethrough text.

Select Highlighter to scroll through and select a different highlight color for your text.

Select Font Color to scroll through and select a different color for your text.

Select Font size to make the font Large, Medium, or Small.

Select Rich style editor to change the type of formatting to heading, paragraph or monospaced.

Select Clear all formatting to erase the selected message's format changes.

Select Decrease or Increase indent to add or remove an indentation.

Select Bulleted list to make a list using bullet points.

Select Numbered list to make a list using numbered items.

Select Quote to add quotation formatting to your message.

Select Insert link to add a link to the selected part of your message.

Select Mark as important to add an important flag to your message.

Select Insert horizontal rule to break up your message with a horizontal line.

Select Insert table , then select the table size you'd like to add to your message.

Select Insert column or row to add a column or row to your inserted table.

Select Delete column, row, or table to remove a column, row, or the entire inserted table.

Select Undo typing to revert changes made to your message formatting.

Select Repeat typing to add back the changes you reverted.

Select Delete , then confirm you want to remove your drafted message.
