With the To Do integration in new Outlook, you can create tasks anywhere from the My Day pane. Need to schedule a time to do a task? Use the drag feature to book time to work on it. Here's how.

Drag a task to your calendar with To Do in new Outlook

  1. Go to Calendar in new Outlook.

  2. Open the My Day pane by selecting My Day iconMy Day on the toolbar at the top of the page.

  3. Select the To Do tab.

  4. Find the task that you want to create a calendar event from.

  5. Select and drag the task to when you want it on your calendar.

  1. Log into your Outlook account and go to Calendar.

  2. Open the My Day pane by selecting My Day iconMy Day on the toolbar at the top of the page.

  3. Select the To Do tab.

  4. Find the task that you want to create a calendar event from.
