Stopping a paid plan only
If you would like to cancel a subscription to a paid plan and would like to keep using the free Clipchamp tier, please see: How to cancel a Clipchamp plan.
Deleting a Clipchamp account
To entirely remove a Clipchamp account and all its data,
-
You can go to this link to submit the deletion request. The link works on desktop/laptop, not mobile.
-
You will be prompted to sign into the Clipchamp account you want to delete if you are not already signed in.
-
Alternatively, you can go to the settings page of your Clipchamp account and request the account deletion at the bottom of the page.
-
On mobile, in the Clipchamp iOS app you'll find the account deletion option in the app's settings.
When your request is submitted, you will be logged out and the account deletion will be processed. When it is completed, you will receive a confirmation email.
During the period between when you submit your account deletion request and when your account deletion is completed, you will be unable to sign into Clipchamp using that email address.
After the deletion has been processed you will be able to use the same email address to open a fresh account that will not contain any of your previous data.
Please note that deleting a Clipchamp account and its data does not delete your Microsoft personal or family account if you have connected one in Clipchamp. At the moment, Clipchamp and Microsoft accounts and their data are managed separately.
Important: If you have a subscription for the Clipchamp Premium plan in place, make sure to cancel the paid plan in your Microsoft account. Deleting a Clipchamp account as described above will not automatically stop the Premium plan subscription since the plan is managed via your Microsoft account. Our apologies for the inconvenience of this additional step.
