When you join a scheduled audio or video meeting on Lync for Windows Phone, you should be able to see any meeting content that is being shared. If you are in the meeting when sharing begins, you’ll get an invitation to view the shared content, which you can either accept or decline. If you join the meeting while sharing is in progress, you’ll see the content automatically. (You can’t share content from your phone, however.)
Here are other things you can do in a meeting:
When you’re in a call you can tap to do this:
-
Mute icon to mute and unmute the call.
-
Hold icon to put the call on hold, and then tap the Hold icon again to resume the call.
-
Speaker icon to turn the speaker phone on and off.
-
Dial pad icon to use the dial pad.
-
End call icon to end the entire conversation.
-
IM icon to view or send an IM to people in the call, and then tap the Phone icon to go back to the audio conversation screen.
-
Video icon to start your video.
When you’re in a video call, tap the Video icon, and then tap one of the following:
-
stop camera to turn off your video, but still see another person’s video.
-
switch camera to switch from the front or back Windows Phone camera.
-
leave video to end everyone’s video for you only, but still have audio.
At the bottom of the screen, tap the More (…) icon to do the following:
-
leave conference to leave the meeting.
-
send as email to send an email copy of your conversation to someone.
-
see conversations to view current and past conversations.
-
invite other people to join the meeting, either individually or as a distribution group.
-
transfer the call to someone, either by name or phone number.
-
see participants to view the meeting roster (the list of invitees).
Once you are in the meeting roster view, you can:
-
Tell which participants are presenters and which are attendees. (Presenters have more rights and control than attendees, and it can be useful to know who can do what in the meeting.)
-
Tell what communication modes each participant has available. (Indicated by the icons for IM, voice, video, and sharing.)
-
Invite someone to the meeting. (On the roster view, tap Invite, find the person via search, then tap the person’s listing. Option available to presenters only)
-
Remove participants from the meeting—for example, those who have been added by. (Tap the participant’s listing on the roster, then tap Remove. Presenters only.)
-
Mute participants. (Tap the participant’s listing on the roster, then tap Mute. Presenters only)
