With tags, you can quickly return to important items, remind yourself about action items, or filter on notes you’d like to share with others. You can tag anything from a single line of text to an entire paragraph.

iPad

  1. Tap on the page where you want to add a tag. You can select single words, sentences, or entire paragraphs prior to adding a tag

  2. On the Home tab, tap the Tag icon on the far right, and then flick down to select the tag you want.

Some tags are dynamic. For example, the To Do tag allows you to add a checkmark to text when a task or item is complete.

  3. To remove a tag, select the text that was previously tagged. Tap the Tag icon, and then tap the same tag again.

To search for tags, tap the search icon in the upper left, and then enter the name of the tag, such as "Important" or "Critical". Don't search for the content of the tag.
