The OneDrive mobile app requires one of the following:

  • An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 16 or later. Get the iOS app .

Note: From app version 15.1.3, OneDrive only supports iOS/iPadOS versions 16 or newer. If you are using iOS 15 or older you can only update the OneDrive app. New installations of the OneDrive app need to be on iOS 16 or newer.

Beta or Preview releases

We love early adopters, but PC, Mac, and mobile OS beta releases aren't supported. You'll need to stick with production releases to continue to use OneDrive reliably.

However, if you're keen to always have the latest and greatest, there are two ways to get early access to new features:

  1. Join the OneDrive Preview for Android or OneDrive Preview for iOS .

  2. On your OneDrive desktop app, select Help & Settings > Settings > About and select Get early access .
