When you open a PDF file from OneDrive on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, the Markup tool appears at the top, along with other common PDF commands such as print or search.
Add markup

Open the OneDrive for iOS app, and open the PDF you want to mark up.

At the top of your screen, tap Markup .
-
On the Markup toolbar (from left to right: Done, Undo, Redo, Note, Text, More (which expands to show Signature, Image, and Date)), tap the tool that you want to use.
-
Swipe up, down, left, or right to navigate your way through the PDF to the place where you want to make your markups.
-
-
Tap the Note icon to insert a note into the PDF. Tap where you want the comment to go and type into the Note that appears. Tap away from the Note to close it.

You can also tap and hold over text to access more editing options (tap the left or right triangles to see additional options):
-
Copy - Copies the select text (this can then be pasted into a Note, for example, by adding a Note, pressing and holding within the Note, and selecting Paste)

-
Highlight - Highlights the selected word using your current Highlighter settings
-
