ISSUE

You may experience problems syncing notes and receive one of the following errors: 0xE40200B4, 0xE401065D, 0xE000145C, or 0xE4010640. These errors occur because our servers are experiencing high volumes.

STATUS: WORKAROUND

These errors are temporary and occur when our servers are experiencing high volume and are under load. That being said, some changes have been made so that you'll encounter these errors less frequently.

If you do see these error messages, please remember that your notes are safe and there is no need for you to take any additional steps. OneNote will continue to reach out to the server to sync your notes until the server responds.

Alternatively, you can use OneNote for Windows 10 or OneNote for the web to avoid these errors.
