How to fix PDFCreator Toolbar and Internet Explorer 8 incompatibility problems

This incompatibility will cause Internet Explorer 8 to stop responding or crash.

To fix this incompatibility, you have two options.

Option 1: Update to the latest version of PDFCreator

The latest version of PDFCreator has an updated toolbar that is compatible with Internet Explorer 8.

To update to the latest PDFCreator Toolbar, follow these steps:

1. Uninstall your current version of PDFCreator Toolbar and PDFCreator.
2. Visit the PDFCreator (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/) Web site to download and install the latest version. This will update the PDFCreator software and fix the issue.
3. Exit all Internet Explorer windows to get out of no-add-ons mode..

Option 2: Disable the add-on

After you disable the PDFCreator Toolbar, Internet Explorer 8 will not load the PDFCreator Toolbar add-on when starting up. You will not be able to use the PDFCreator Toolbar.

To disable the PDFCreator Toolbar, follow these steps:

1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Manage Add-ons.
